About this Country House

This beautiful country house with a B&B license, is set on the edge of the stunning Sierra del la Pilar nature reserve, just outside of the affluent and attractive town of Pinoso.  The country house was a successful operating B&B business, but the owner has now retired.

The property is surrounded by beautiful countryside having panoramic views and is ideal for walkers, climbers, ramblers, nature lovers, or anyone who just wants to enjoy the simple tranquility and beauty of the Sierra de Pilar mountains.

There are at least 5 bodegas (vineyards/winemakers) within a few minutes’ drive, where customers can go on wine tasting trips, including the stunning internationally renowned Casa Rojo Bodega www.casarojo.com  which the current owner already has a close working relationship.

The country house is surrounded by small traditional towns and villages, each with their own bars and restaurants, weekly market days, and during the summer months, Fiestas!

This impressive renovated farm house, boasts 5 individually laid out spacious en-suite bedrooms upstairs with two family rooms and three double rooms. The family sized rooms can accommodate 1 double and 2 singles, with further room for a child’s cot.

Downstairs has both a one bedroom studio style apartment, (which is currently being used as the owners accommodation/office, but could be converted into a fully self contained unit, by simply adding a cooker, and a fridge) and a spacious two bedroom apartment, having two large double rooms, a very large family size bathroom, with full disabled access facilities, a large lounge area, and a kitchenette with cooker fridge sink etc.  Therefore either the one or two bedroom apartments could be utilized as owners accommodation, depending on your needs.

The rest of the downstairs, consists of a reception hall, a large communal guest lounge complete with a feature wood burning fireplace and air conditioning.   This then leads off to the breakfast/dining areas, and bar area. There are also male and female toilets, a fully white tiled, commercial style large kitchen, with central drainage for easy cleaning and maintenance.

A door leading from the kitchen area takes you into a large, unrenovated coach house, which could be converted, in the future,  into anything from, extra accommodation, extra storage space, or whatever you felt would suit you best.

The restaurant/bar area, leads out through double doors, to a very large open fully paved courtyard, with wall lighting and external power sockets. The courtyard has a large iron gate leading through to a pathway to the outside and the large free-form swimming pool with bar, and sunbathing terrace, offering unrestricted views of the surrounding country side.
All this sits in 7,500 m2 of land.

This property, even has its own well with an electric pump, which supplies the whole property with mountain spring water.  Enough to supply the entire property, pool, everything - there's no shortage, or water bills to consider.

The electricity supply has been upgraded to accommodate the demand of the former guest house.

The house is fully centrally heated, throughout to allow for the winter months, powered by a large commercial diesel boiler, that provides plenty of hot water, round the clock if required, which can be thermostatically controlled, and has a "summer" setting to keep costs down.

This large country house could be an amazing family home or has potential as a rural tourism business.

Keep in mind that there is some reform to do before you can open up again.
