Sax is such a great place to live and wherever you are is a great location but there is something special about living on the Castalla side as the access is so incredible and you can be at the airport in Alicante in 30 minutes any hour of the day any day of the week.
This is a relatively new property, a two minute walk from my own house so I know the area particularly well. Electric Remote Controlled gates open to a long gravel driveway with a 3 car carport to the right hand side and a purpose built kennels to the left amongst the 140 trees that include olive, almond, pear, apricot and others.
Also in the grounds is an area with a concrete base that the family use to erect an above ground swimming pool in the summer months but with the correct licenses a swimming pool can be built there. There is a pergola for exterior dining and shade and a chicken coop and a storage unit.
An L-shaped terrace runs around two sides of the villa and from there you enter into a massive conservatory which is just wonderful for trapping in the winter sunshine and has plenty of windows for summer.
Inside the house is an L-shaped kitchen/lounge/diner. The kitchen is a very decent size and is fully fitted with modern units and has a breakfast bar. The lounge/diner is a long space and has a log burner at one end. The main bathroom, a very large bathroom indeed, is off the lounge and there is a separate hallway where the three bedrooms are.
There are two double bedrooms, the master has an en-suite bathroom and the third, a single bedroom, is being used as an office. The area has 14mb of Internet which never seems to dip.
This is a really lovely house in such a wonderful location and is perfect as a family home or as a part-time home and it is easy to lockup and leave.
