Monovar is a lovely town surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and almond trees with easy motorway access to the beach and airport within 30 minutes. It is a quiet and peaceful area with wonderful mountain walks available right on the doorstep. There are a wide variety of shops, supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants together with a beautiful catholic church for Sunday services. There is a daily indoor market where you can purchase local produce and a bustling outdoor market every Monday.
